Contemporary Music Collective (CMC)
Come and join us. You don’t need to audition, and you’ll find the atmosphere warm and friendly. All you need is to really love singing!
You can sing but can’t read music? That’s no problem -we’ve an easy method of learning songs and harmonies that you’ll soon pick up.
We’re presently working on shows that we will be performing on a variety of stages throughout Wales. So come alone and have fun with us!
Rehearsals take place in Cowbridge Comprehensive School Main Hall, every Thursday between 5:30 – 7:30pm.
CMC update 05/09/2022
CMC was formed last year as a kind of modern-type choir. Following our concert at the ICC, I have decided that there needs to be more focus on your stage confidence, individual professional performance skills, solo performance, or maximum duets or trios for individual projects, and career growth on each individual’s level. Therefore, the structure of CMC rehearsals will be as follows:
- First hour: Stage flexibility and confidence work out.
- Break: still with CMC’s favourite cookies
- Second hour: solos workshops, individual performances.
This layout will be regular unless we are preparing for a particular show or project, then we will focus on that instead.
